3 Sundays ago I lost my Oliver 🐶.

“He was my Bestie, My Soul Dog & Light of My Life. There hasn’t been a day since that I haven’t cried. I miss him so much. He was the best dog ever- we had the best life together. 10 years wasn’t enough, but it was a beautiful life. Forever Grateful for that. Give your dog that extra treat today and don’t forget to…”

The Wrap

Picture children perched on oversized mushrooms in an enchanted forest, with puppets bringing stories to life. That was "The Blue Fairy", a children's show WGN aired weekly in primetime in 1958. It was among the first children's shows anywhere to air in color, though the rare recordings that survive are only in black and white. Pure Chicago TV magic.

Understanding different ballot questions, on FOX 32 Chicago

Cook County has a question in its ballot asking voters if they would support a 3% tax on millionaires that would reduce property taxes and go towards education funding. However, this question is non-binding, and even with overwhelming support, would not automatically become law. It is instead seen as an advisory ballot question. However, in several counties in Illinois, there are binding questions on the ballot.
