- ➤ Federal immigration agents detained three workers and questioned an international student in Hyde Park this week—on Oct. 15 a Pizza Capri employee was detained near 52nd Street and agents were seen near Kenwood Academy, prompting local officials and community members to urge caution in the area. - ➤ The UIC Crossing Latinidades initiative was named a 2025 Example of Excelencia for advancing Latino humanities in graduate education.
