  • Naper Settlement’s historic Gothic Revival chapel will receive new heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment with a $200,000 state tourism grant from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.   • Senate President Don Harmon is appealing a $9.8 million fine for his campaign after his self-funding move allowed unlimited donations past a $100,000 contribution — his lawyer said the exemption should last until the 2026 election.   • UIC researchers have received a three-year grant worth $1.2M from the US Department of Defense Prostate Cancer Research Program to study treatment variations for metastatic prostate cancer.
