HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ On May 26, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said healthy children and pregnant women would no longer be automatically recommended for COVID-19 shots due to a lack of clinical data—while the CDC later advised that kids under 18 could be vaccinated if their doctors approve. Cook County public health leaders stressed that vaccines remain a critical tool for protecting families as COVID risks continue this fall. Daily Herald
