- ➤ UIC faculty are invited to join a hands-on lab that practices accessible course design for updating course materials. The workshop runs today from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the UIC Richard J. Daley Library (Conference Room 1-470, Conference Room 1-360, and Side A). Today UIC
- ➤ University of Chicago will renovate Ida Noyes Hall with a $50 million gift from Board of Trustees chair David Rubenstein. The historic building at 1212 E. 59th St. will be updated as the David M. Rubenstein Commons to serve the community — preserving its neo-Gothic charm. Hyde Park Herald

- ➤ The University of Illinois Cancer Center is set to host the Dr. Gary Kruh Cancer Research Symposium and Student/Trainee Poster Competition, featuring scientific presentations, a community advocate speaker, and a poster contest for students and trainees (a day dedicated to cancer research and community conversation) on an upcoming day.
