- ➤ Chicago nonprofit Elevated Chicago awarded $340,000 in grants to support eight arts projects near major transit hubs on the South and West sides in late January; the initiative funds projects costing $10,000 to $50,000 to add public art and cultural events near transit stations — boosting local participation.
