- ➤ The UIC Undergraduate Research Forum will be held Tuesday, Apr. 21 at the UIC Dorin Forum - 725 W. Roosevelt Road - to showcase undergraduate research and creative inquiry. Registration for student presenters and event judges remains open through Friday, Mar. 27. Today UIC
- ➤ UIC professor Danny Bernard Martin was elected to the National Academy of Education as the only Illinois representative for his work in math education, and he will join 18 other scholars to further support equity for Black learners + expand his research efforts. Today UIC
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Kenwood Academy girls won their first Chicago Public League basketball championship on Feb. 13 at Credit Union 1 Arena by beating Butler College Prep 56–25. The team showed strong ball security & teamwork as they prepare to defend their state title starting Monday. Hyde Park Herald
