- ➤ 22-year-old filmmaker Abraham Callard wrapped production on his final film in Hyde Park, 'Come In From the Cold,' as a farewell note before moving to San Francisco next month. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Starting Monday, Feb. 2, the Daley Library's IDEA Commons will offer overnight hours from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Thursday for UIC i-card holders — on Sundays it will be open from noon to 7 p.m. with access limited to UIC affiliates. Today UIC
- ➤ UIC held a Zoom webinar yesterday at 11:00 a.m. where Blake Bertuccelli-Booth introduced Equalify for improving web accessibility and compliance for faculty, staff, and IT teams; the platform launches for the UIC community in February (presentation materials were shared before the session). HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Illinois is facing its worst flu season in over 15 years as cases and hospital visits rise and over 100 flu-related deaths have been reported, with 77 occurring recently (including three children).
