EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ UIC students can add Metra Rail to their spring U-PASS for unlimited rides except on the South Shore line from Jan. 7 to May 13; opt in by 11:59 p.m. Feb. 12 to use the U-PASS+ at a fee of $380 for most students + fees differ for certain colleges. Today UIC
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Respiratory illnesses from COVID-19, influenza and RSV have been rising in Chicago. UIC Student Health and Wellbeing advises residents to get vaccinated, mask in crowded indoor spaces and stay home if sick as monitoring continues on campus and at hospitals. Today UIC
- ➤ UIC College of Nursing offers yoga classes for all levels for UIC staff, faculty, and students every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:00 p.m. from Jan. 13 to May 7 at the College of Nursing (or outdoors, weather permitting) for $80. Today UIC
